Tiny Film Critic: Barbie Mariposa
Presenting a new feature - the Tiny Film Critic
The Film: Barbie Mariposa and her Butterfly Fairy Friends
The Review: Babiest movie ever? Babier than Dora? Barbie Mariposa.
It crushed the brain out of my head!
It was about these stupid little fairies who think they're strong enough to go into the cave and all the others have to stay back and they're trying to save the queen from the stupid little fairy named Hannah who tries to give her a poison in her mouth.
And then it comes like this: So. Mariposa found the thing that would make the Queen better but stupid little Hannah pulled the petals off the flower and then she only got a little of the smell and even it made her better!
Film Status: Rejected

incredible review.
I think her "dimensions" even exaggerate a normal Barbie's unnatural curves. 36-24-36 she aint!
well I'll tell you it's pretty hard to parody a barbie - as i was doing it I kept realizing mine was more restrained than the real thing
Barbie in a Mermaid Tale is OUR film flavour of the week, thanks to the latest toy from McDonalds. Equally mind-numbing.
Oh, but this makes me glad I don't have a girl.
Also, I just found this blog, which delights me so MUCH because I purchased your book last weekend and have gone through it three times - it still makes me laugh. So now I get to read back through all the old pages. :-) Fantastic!
You honestly have no idea how each of these posts has lifted my spirits. A look at life through the eyes (and thoughts) of a child should be on everyone's daily "To Do" list!
thanks everyone!
Oh man that made me laugh. It could "crush our brains right out of our heads" is now going to be my official reason for never renting anything with Barbie in it.
you have a very smart little girl :)
"It crushed the brain out of my head!" That, by far, is the best reaction I've seen to a movie ever. Smart girl.
From now on I will open at least a third of my reviews with "It crushed the brain out of my head!" Beyond awesome.
