My art director is two three four five years old.
(You might want to start at the bottom from when she was two)
The Brief: A dinosaur eating a R and an O and an S and a I and a E
The Critique: That's not what I want. That's a Brachiosaurus. I want a T Rex. He's supposed to have the other letters in his mouth too. See look! He's only eating that one. What letter is that?

An I. A capital I at that.
Well of course it's curving unnaturally - it's being eaten by a dinosaur!
I love it; the briefs and the critiques are amazing.
I'd like to see the one that was buried due to the profound truth in it and the threat it posed upon manking :)
hi I'm vik.
I love this blog. I love your artwork too, and I love how utterly MEAN your sweet little girl is.
Gimme more.
come to think of it; did your 3 year old write the critique.. I thought it to be your alter ego.
this site is ridiculously awesome.
wow alot of crazy stuff here ur vary talented
Oh my gosh this is the first time I've read your site and I can't get enough, I'm laughing to the point of tears!!
I really like it, kind of young psychedelic world ( wonderland or such ) with dinosaurs
This kick ass =)
i am quite sure that the "I" was already swallowed and in the dinosaur mouth is the top curve of the "S." I am also quite sure i will accept no other interpretation.
Oh wow. I'm another somebody who stumbled here somehow and can't stop laughing. What a fantastic blog. You've got your work cut out for you. Good luck!
Sorry for all the deleted comments above - there was a pretty amusing chorus of agreement that the TAD was correct and that the letter in the dinos mouth was unrecognizable. I decided I should remove anything that has her real name in it.
A bit of theoretical child psychology ...
your daughter seems to like dinosaurs the way some girls like horses.
try to think of it like dinosaurs being her "big buddies"
that's why i think she wanted her name (presumably) in the dino's mouth. she probably wants the dino to look more friendly too and probably like something she saw on tv.
maybe you'll get more approvals.
but don't sacrifice your integrity as l'artist ;P
nice work btw. i LOVE this blog.
You seriously can't follow directions, they were pretty clear in this case
i love this blog!! i wish there was a little photo of you and your little one? perhaps in action...a candid??please??soo cute nonetheless!
The book said that nobody could tell what letter that was... but it looks like a capital 'I' to me, which fits just fine within the parameters!
I'll put my not so tiny Art Director cap on and say that the indent in the grass should have the serifs of the I as well, though, to keep it consistent :)
Thanks for sharing all this. I would totally hire her but she'd probably take over my studio!
